I was running errands that morning and checked the site before heading over, and the inventory ended up being accurate. My order was ready the same day, which was really convenient since I was already out and didn’t want to make another trip.

I signed up for the gamestop membership mostly because of the monthly reward, it’s been solid so far.
I usually use the $5 coupon on little stuff or put it toward pre-owned games, so if you stop in even semi-regularly, it kinda pays for itself. The points have added up quicker than I thought they would too.

The app can be a bit slow sometimes, which is annoying, but using the rewards in store hasn’t been a hassle at all. It’s simple enough, and that’s really all I wanted.

I ordered a used game from GameStop, and after watching the tracking sit there with no updates for a few days, I started noticing the usual pattern where it feels like the package is just stuck in limbo. I contacted customer service, and the first response felt canned, like they didn’t really look into it. The second person was more helpful and actually checked what was going on, which gave me a clearer idea of what to expect. The game did eventually show up and worked perfectly fine, so it wasn’t a huge problem in the end. I just wish the support had been quicker and more useful from the start. The gamestop site and app are actually easy to use, which is always a nice surprise in the magical world of online shopping. I can usually find games, check prices, and see if store pickup is available without wanting to throw my phone across the room. The app does slow down here and there, and the filters sometimes act like they have their own personal agenda, but overall it works fine for what I need

I’ve ordered from GameStop a few times now, and it’s been alright for me. The prices can be good if you kind of wait around for sales or promo codes, which is what I usually do. I got a couple of pre-owned games for cheaper than I was seeing at other places, and the shipping was not really a problem either. I like looking at the deals page because usually there is something on there that feels worth grabbing. Not every price is the best price ever, obviously, but the promos make it more better sometimes. Overall, I’m happy with it.

The protection plan did end up helping, so I’m glad I had it, but the details were kind of confusing. I thought I understood what was covered, then I had to go back and check the fine print, and then I was calling support just to make sure. It worked out in the end, which is good, but I wish everything had been explained more clearly from the start.

How do i reach a human? is there a different number? 4+ hours of hold time for five different days just doesn't sound right. haven't been able to reach customer service in weeks via phone call or email. i've emailed about 8 times with just the auto response and nothing afterwards. it's obnoxious and the most miserable customer service i've ever heard of. worse than comcast, who knew it could get worse.
